The BBS-law
gudinna.com has no Legally Responible Publisher (Ansvarig utgivare) and therefore the Swedish BBS-law (BBS-lagen) should be applied. In short, this law states that if something illegal is posted on a site, the administrators are obliged to help and remove the content, but are not personally responsible for the content. The people contributing are the ones responsible for their actions.
The Personal Data Act
In Sweden we also have something called “the Personal Data Act" (PUL). It states that you can’t publish any “Personal data” about a person without their consent. Personal data can be all kinds of information that directly or indirectly may be referable to a natural person who is alive. Therefore, a picture of a person, where you can tell who it is, shall be classified as “personal data” and may not be published without consent from the portrayed person. In other words, you may not post pictures of you friends if they haven’t told you that you may do so.
